As I describe in my book Surviving a Realistic Zombie Apocalypse it will become vital to your overall survival strategy to avoid other people at all costs.
Let’s face it; zombies are just ordinary, everyday people who just turn. When they do you will find yourself in a life or death struggle so it is best to plan for an isolated survival or as isolated as possible.
But if you have lost your supplies or have not prepared, who can you turn to for help?
Police / military
All police forces and military personnel will be running scared and will barely be able to keep control. Zombies won’t look anything like they are portrayed on TV so will be indistinguishable from other people. The likelihood of being shot and killed by police or military is very high. Stay away from them. All police forces and military personnel will be running scared. Share on XGovernment
Really? These parasites are only interested in looking after themselves. There would be a very high chance that they were involved in the creation of the zombie apocalypse in the first place, or at least they knowingly allowed it to happen without lifting a finger to stop it.Other people
Remember; always stay in isolation as much as possible. People are the ones who turn into zombies. In saying that it may be possible to trade some supplies with small groups of people but don’t hang around. As soon as your trade is complete get as far away from them as possible.FEMA
If you live in America you may be tempted to comply with the directions of FEMA and relocate to one of their detention camps emergency care facilities, however, these areas will prove to be death-traps and should be avoided at all costs.Local Civil Defence / shelters
These areas may prove useful in picking up some supplies but only in the first 3-7 days following the initial outbreak. Great care should be taken when approaching on of these areas as they will be swarming with people but will be your best bet for getting assistance. The best way to get help is to not require help in the first place. Gather your own supplies and learn how to live in the wild.If you’re a regular reader of the site, please consider supporting my efforts so I can continue to deliver content.
